How do I get a price quote for an elevator or lift ? What is the process (from quote to install)? What are the client’s responsibilities?

  • You are also welcome to call, rather than submitting a form, if it is more convenient for you.
  • STEP 2: CLIENT - This request for a price quote should include the following information: Is it a new or existing building?
  • What type of lift or elevator are you interested in?
  • Number of floors/landings?
  • What are the travel heights (floor-to-floor or floor-to-ceiling heights) of each floor/landing?
  • What will the cab configuration be (will you need to enter and exit on the same side, opposite sides, or at a 90-degree side)?
  • STEP 3: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - We will price and put together a rough estimate for the cost of your new lift.
  • STEP 4: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - We will set up a time for our technician to visit you at the site to verify all the information and make sure that the pricing and drawings are accurate for order.
  • STEP 5: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - We will provide an Installation Agreement and Drawings for your approval, and the accessibility lift will be put into production with our manufacturer.
  • STEP 6: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - The unit will be put into production and an expected ship date will be set.
  • STEP 7: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - Once the unit is delivered to our office, we will schedule the installation.
  • STEP 8: AMERICAN HOME ELEVATOR - We will install the unit and schedule the Acceptance Inspection (for required units).
